Varun Dhawan Makes First Social Media Post After Testing Positive For COVID-19; Says, 'Believe I Could Have Been More Careful’
It was last week that the news of Varun Dhawan, Neetu Kapoor and filmmaker Raj Mehta contracting the COVID-19 virus on the sets of their upcoming film Jug Jugg Jeeyo had made it to the web. However, Anil Kapoor and Kiara Advani had tested negative. Now, it appears that while Varun Dhawan is quarantining in Chandigarh, Neetu Kapoor was taken to Mumbai in an ambulance, the arrangements of which were made by her son Ranbir Kapoor. Now, taking to his Instagram, Varun has shared his experience of getting diagnosed with Coronavirus.

The picture shared by the Judwaa 2 actor is a screenshot from his video call with his ‘vitamin friends’. In his caption, Varun wrote how he contracted the virus despite all the precautions and that he could have been more careful. He also thanked his well-wishers for all the love and support. “VITAMIN FRIENDS. So as I returned to work in the pandemic era I have contracted covid-19. All precautions were taken by the production but still nothing is certain in life especially not covid-19. So please be extra careful I believe I could have been more careful. I see the get well soon messages and my spirits are high taking each day at a time, thank u,” read VD’s caption.

A source close to Neetu, on the other hand, told HT, “She tested positive for COVID-19 today. So, Ranbir organised the air ambulance for her, to get her back. If she’s here, she will get proper hospitalisation and isolation otherwise she was alone in Chandigarh.”
